FAIRFAX, Va -The BRYC Elite Academy is excited to announce an international friendly between the club’s W-20 team and the Royal Corps of Signals F.C. The roster for the friendly will also be comprised of players in the College Track program as part of the BRYC Elite Academy model. This will be the first meeting between Braddock Road and the British Women’s Army team.
Currently undefeated, the W-20 team is in first place in the North Atlantic Division. Olivia Fiegel leads the league with 13 points while Princeton University sophomore Natalie Larkin is second in points. Jen Boyles, an incoming freshman at Virginia Tech, leads all players in the league with minutes played. The Braddock Road W-20 team will play again this Sunday, June 21, in a doubleheader with the club’s W-League team.
Kick-off for the friendly is set for 7 p.m. at Woodson HS AUX Field on Wednesday, June 17. Admission into the game is free, but donations are gladly accepted.
