Happy New Year and Welcome to 2021!

 

This update is to announce a couple of adjustments to our RTP procedures as we prepare to resume activities in January.

 

NOTE:  These updates supersede and replace previous recommendations of our originally issued Return to Play Recommendations.

 

Appendix B (RTP following COVID-19 infection) - revised guidelines for return to play for …

(1) Symptomatic player/staff with confirmed COVID-19 infection

(2) Player/Staff with COVID-19 who have NOT had any symptoms; and 

(3) Player/Staff with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 infection

Appendix C (RTP following COVID-19 exposure) - circumstances for reduced quarantine time (7 to 10 days) for asymptomatic player or staff member who has been exposed to an individual with a suspected or diagnosed case of COVID-19.

Player & Parent Responsibilities - the club has updated its quarantine policy relative to domestic travel since Virginia Department of Health does not currently have any quarantine requirements for people arriving in the Commonwealth from other US locations.  IF you are returning from a state that requires self-quarantine (upon return) then that guidance MUST be followed.  Click HERE for details.

 

Spectator Policy for Home Matches - per the governor's updated guidance in December 2020, 2 guests per player are now permitted at BRYC Elite Academy VENUES.  Please consult the venue specific guidelines for Robinson and Woodson on where spectators are permitted to watch matches.

 

Pre-Event Questionnaire (PEQ) - effective Jan 4, 2021, BRYC Elite Academy will transition to the use of the "My Health Check" questionnaire in your TeamSnap account to validate each player has met requirements to participate in a BRYC Elite Academy event.  The "My Health Check" questionnaire is available within TeamSnap app on your mobile device. The questionnaire becomes available within 8 hours of the scheduled event.
