Soccer Organization of Charlottesville-Albermarle (SOCA) is hosting BRYC Elite, Beach FC, and SYA/FC Virginia for club-to-club friendlies and college showcase September 3 and 4, 2011.
The goal of this unique event is to showcase our prospective college players U18-U15 on specific fields (easy for college coaches to scout) and within specific age group bands. The U14-U11 age group bands are also included in this event and will be scheduled on fields in and around the showcase fields.
IMPORTANT - TEAM MANAGER INFORMATION
There will be NO check in of cards or rosters like a tournament; it will be treated like a VCCL Matchday. Directors trust each other that everything is in order.
Please carry copies of Team Roster, Player Passes (USYSA) and Medical Releases just in case anything needs to be confirmed or in case of emergency/injury. If using a guest player for a team, write/document that player in at the bottom of the copy of that roster.
Guest players, no problem as long as they have an appropriate USYSA player pass. Note: The player pass rule for the event is based on the VYSA policy for hosting an event like this one.

Field #1 has no warmup area so make note of the extra warmup areas noted on map (click HERE).
There are restrooms located next to Field #2 Stadium but we will have a couple of port-o-pottys near
Field #1 and Field #2.
Belfield Campus is a bit hidden so all should review directions prior to getting near the location
and know that the Athletic Fields are on Faulconer Drive.
FYI - The two turf fields at STAB will be painted in royal blue. There are multiple lines on each field
but our fields will be in royal blue (an identifiable color).
